Velox is an energetic and sweet 1-year-old with a curious disposition. At 9 lbs., he is just the right size for curling up with you when you read a book or watch TV. This fun-loving boy likes chasing toys and taking it easy with his foster parents. Velox bonds very quickly to new people and wants all of their attention. Velox would likely do well with children, though he is still learning to use his mouth appropriately, so he wouldn't be a good match for a home with children too young to understand to protect their own fingers. He has good dog-to-dog manners and would do very well in a home where he has a doggy playmate. When kept on a schedule, Velox is fairly reliable with his house training and responds quickly when asked to go potty outside, though he does have occasional accidents inside. Velox sleeps in a crate at night but also loves to be invited to sleep in bed with his foster parents.
